In tandem with its main objective of facilitating the identification of regional ICT stakeholders and their connections with their respective European peers, the EECA-cluster has designed and implemented the Competence Platform. The Competence Platform is an online service offered through the EU – EECA Gateway on ICT research and development portal. It will be used to collect, sort, and provide information about ICT experts and organizations in the region, and will be available to anyone looking for a potential collaborator.

Through the Competence Platform you have the ability to:

 

  • Identify information sources
  • Compile available knowledge and expertise,
  • Promote your own and your organisation’s research competencies so as to increase participation in European research networks (and be invited in research consortia)
  • identify and contact regional key players to form future collaborations via a search engine mechanism
