Follow 2009-2010 FP7 ICT priorities to participate in coming calls….
The ICT Work Programme 2009-2010 under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) (ftp://ftp.cordis.europa.eu/pub/fp7/ict/docs/ict-wp-2009-10_en.pdf) defines the priorities for the calls for proposals to be launched. It is divided into seven 'Challenges' of strategic interest to European society, plus research into 'Future and emerging technologies' (FET) and support for horizontal actions, such as international cooperation.
On this page - http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/events/budapest_2009/priorities/index_en.htm, you may find an overview of the 2009-2010 priorities for ICT research funding, as well as those of Research Infrastructures, ARTEMIS and ENIAC Joint Technology Initiatives (JTI).
There will be three opportunities for ICT researchers both in EU and EECA countries:
- “5th ICT call” – was published in July, 2009 and closed on October 27, 2009.
- “6th ICT call” – will be published in November, 2009 ( expected deadline: April 13, 2009)
- Continuous call for proposals for the Future and emerging technologies (FETs) – it was launched in November 2008 and will last until December 2010. Proposers can submit a proposal at any time during one of the 7 batches.
