ICT EECA Help Desk: Direct hands-on personalized support for participating in the EU 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development

Do you want to start or join a proposal and you do not know how? Do you want to know more about the themes of specific or forthcoming FP7 calls? Are you interested in ICT programme? do you struggle to understand the specific terminology of the European S&T Programmes or you do not know how to find partners?.

As part of the foreseen facilitations, EXTEND will implement a Help Desk service aiming at providing direct hands-on personalized support to the EECA researchers for participating in FP7

 

The Help Desk will be on the EXTEND website (www.extend-ict.eu), and linked to the EECA portal to provide its services for all EECA countries.

The Help Desk will offer the following key services:

-          Proposal guidance

-          Idea evaluation

-          Coaching

-          FAQ - Frequent Asked Questions

-          Glossary

Most requests will be answered by e-mail but also by direct telephone (or skype) contact. Requests will be managed by the national representatives, and the answers will be sent within maximum two working days upon a call/question is received.


The Help Desk will become operational from July 2009 until the end of the project (mid 2011).

The ICT Help Desk service, developed by EXTEND and offered to all EECA countries, will hopefully have a positive impact on strengthening the EU-EECA collaboration by helping regional stakeholders to become active in FP7 research activities.
