Call for proposals
ISTOK-SOYUZ project advertise the results of the internal call for proposals
The project has finalized the results of the Call. The aim of the call was to select R&D teams with the strongest ICT collaboration potential from the five targeted countries of the EECA (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia and Kazakhstan), and to provide them with personalized support in order to increase the number of ICT partnerships under FP7.
The total number of proposals submitted to the Call: 45, among them 28 from Russia, 7 from Ukraine, 6 from Belarus and 4 from Kazakhstan. The Call Committee considered the examination results of the project experts and declared 16 teams as winners (see the Protocol Examination of proposals submitted).
To recommend the ISTOK-SOYUZ project experts, 8 teams were declared as exclusive recipients of hands-on support in informing, consulting and partner search for taking part in EU FP7 thematic calls.
ISTOK-SOYUZ experts contacted winners, discussed and prepared the action plans of their hands-on support in August and September, 2009.
During September and October, project experts gave support to winners that were interested in taking part in the ICT Call 5 of FP7. As a result, 3 R&D teams were integrated to international consortiums and 5 teams were helped to complete consortiums by coordinators and necessary partners from Europe. These consortiums submitted 8 proposals for the 5th ICT Call.
The next step is hands-on support assistance aiming to strengthen collaboration with European R&D ICT teams for common participation in the 6th ICT Call of FP7.
ISTOK-SOYUZ internal call for proposals was opened for applicants at April 16, 2009.
